The Death of PVP
It's sad really. A game with such good gun play barely sees it. With the combination of poor sbmm, zero skill weapons like Martlet pervading the ecosystem, one shot ko from miles away fusions, and most of all.... ABILITIES FIRST, WEAPONS LATER...what has the promise of a good time has devolved into just a mess of sadness and frustration.
It's just simply not any fun. What could have been.

The Destiny PvP team was dismantled to make Marathon. That was 2019 I think. Crucible was abandoned for (?) years until the PvP “strike team” arrived, but it’s still a much lower priority than it was during D1 and early D2. The writing’s been on the wall for a long time. Unless Bungie announces a huge change of direction for Crucible, I wouldn’t expect anything more than what you’re currently getting.
