Delusions of grandeur. They seem to think they're getting better and are somehow superior in skill (while cheating). Probably convincing themselves they're leveling the playing field since everyone else (in their circles) cheats, too. Oh, and my personal favorite: It (insert cheat device) doesn't even do anything and has a gazillion downsides.
