I mean you’re untested in comp so obviously you don’t play. Maybe someone who does both aspects would have a more insightful opinion

Its a PvE game with a pvp side mode. You wouldnt say call of duty black ops is a zombies game

Edit: According to Crucible Report, you're Untested as well. Of course, your stats also appear to be hidden so maybe you could open them up before rooting around in someone else's.

True, but PvP is also in 'Warframe' and Digital Extreme has more or less stated they don't really give a crap about it because the game isn't PvP-centric.

No one ever played / plays warframe pvp while a lot of players enjoyed D2 just for the pvp aspect until Bungie apparently forgot what makes for a good pvp experience in their neverending quest to draw more players into eververse. (Only reason for sbmm / brain dead ability spam to make casual players feel good about their "skill" in any game.)

Would you consider CoD a pvp game cause that has the sbmm to stupid levels. They even add bots or nerf good players' damage. Nicely tuned to enforce a 50/50 win loss ratio so the casuals visit the shop. It's detailed in the famous Activision document DMG got all excited about to tell us sbmm = good. D2 had long stretches without sbmm, without ability spam and the pvp was even advertised. The whole year one tuning was done cause Bungie was aiming to get into esports and most certainly not with pve content. So to claim D2 or Destiny as a whole has alwaya been pve centric is ingenuous at best. Did Bungie pivot towards pve in the chase of sales numbers? Sure. Did they remember pvp existed when they failed their expected revenue by 50%? Yes. Did the decision to focus on pve over pvp pay off? Look at the numbers and tell me. So if D2 is a pve game as you claim... it's not a very successful one, is it?

No need to get snarky just cause I hit you with facts over feelings. To answer your question: Imo D2 would probably be better off than it is now but Bungie didn't commit so we will never know. However, the pure pve focus did not pay off... or are you trying to dispute the fact the game is not doing well?
