Xbox Crossave Help
Hello Bungie community,
Recently I had my Microsoft account stolen from me, and they will not let me recover it. I was wondering if I added a different Xbox account to my Bungie account, if all my characters, items, and progress would save. Or if played on PlayStation/PC would it save all my stuff. I have a lot of hours into this game and money into this game, and don't want to lose all of it.

You can't change the linked Xbox account, as of March 25th platform account links were made permanent so the Xbox account is permanently linked to your Bungie profile. The only exception to the policy is Twitch accounts. If it was still possible to change the linked Xbox account, you would lose access to your characters/gear etc as your Xbox account is the platform you have set as your active profile for cross-save. You can still access your characters/gear etc while on Steam/Epic, but to be able to access them again on Xbox you will need to recover the account.
