Thanks for reaching out.
Since March 25th's [url=https://help.bungie.net/hc/en-us/articles/35597981889300-Notice-Bungie-net-Account-Unlinking-Update-on-March-25-2025]unlinking update[/url], only Twitch accounts are now eligible to be unlinked from Bungie profiles. All other platform accounts, once linked, are linked permanently. Further, as Bungie entrusts players with the security and management regarding linking their accounts, we do not unlink any accounts on players' behalf. Thus, your old PlayStation account will remain linked, and cannot be unlinked to add your new one.

Hi again, No, you being able to authenticate the account or not does not impact it remaining linked. It is permanently linked. Further, as silentbutviolent pointed out, it had to be authenticated previously to be linked to your Bungie profile in the first place. We recommend reaching out to PlayStation to attempt to recover the old account, but even if you do, it will remain linked.
