That's why Bungie needs to pick a lane, and have the back bone to stick to it
Do you think From Software flip flops on difficulty, no, they would tell you to get gud themselves
And if your wanting a casual game to be more difficult, stop trying to change that game, and go play Elden Ring or Bloodborne if you enjoy beating your head against a wall
Warframe has steel path and level cap for the try hards, and normal for the casuals, they have found perfect balance, but not every game can be warframe

Actually, any game can be Warframe if they take notes on what's working and what's not If I have any basic on making games, I would make one
A mockery of Neomuna made by a "destiny hater"

Actually, any game can be Warframe if they take notes on what's working and what's not
I'm not sure it's that simple. Knowing there's a problem and knowing the right solution are two different things, sadly. "Players are confused about how to get into activities, therefore we'll make a Portal that lays out activities and rewards in an easy to use grid," that sounds great on paper (and I think the Portal probably did work well on paper) but it doesn't necessarily work well in real life. - Then you've got the problem of having to change the whole system to another new thing if people don't like the solution you picked. I don't know how Warframe turns on a dime, but I'm not sure that "any game," let alone every game can do the same thing.

Short list to make a game 1. Focus on experience, play time and money will follow 2. Add new menu as accessibility feature, not replacing the old one when you add it 3. Don't be afraid to try new things, but don't focus on it too much that it removes the enjoyment 4. Embrace the community, communicate with your community about ideas, future content and such 5. Make play grounds for different part of the community, don't force everyone to play in one ground 6. Learn from feedback, either positive or negative 7. Play your own game
Knowing there's a problem and knowing the right solution are two different things, sadly.
Two different things, but you can try adding solution inch by inch instead of full change
I find that portal is actually good on paper and if done right, the problem is they make things revolve only around portal instead of additional feature and lack of explanation on how to get into activities. If portal is a feature for one click menu accessibility, it would be great but unfortunately bungie puts only a handful of activities and it's the only relevant way to progress. That's the problem Let's take notes from Warframe on modding system. People say modding is confusing and they added The Teacher quest for further tutorial on how to mod your gears on top of new player quest which should tell you the most basic of doing stuffs. If I want to copy the homework, I would add consoles with help button to give you quick hints like what you would find in mobile games. Click this to do this and click that to do that. Want to be more interactive? Make NPC characters explain things to you in a simple way, giving them some function and maybe if you're feeling like teasing the players, make an NPC or two laugh at you for not knowing such simple things
Assuming this doesn't make the thirsty part of the community swoon for that NPC
Is it perfect? I'll say far from it but at the very least you can make things more accessible without sacrificing the whole game
I don't know how Warframe turns on a dime, but I'm not sure that "any game," let alone every game can do the same thing.
Turns on a dime? Not really, most of the stuff you see is showcased ahead of the release with clear video on how things go with dev blogs and such so you can have a rough estimation, even livestreams showcasing things that may or may not be realized depending on viewers response

The Engine was retooled and built for it. Like Fortnite. Sony should do the same thing w the Tiger Engine. The entire code should be audited and rewritten too. AI tech could help with that, but I don't know how people would respond. I think it's inevitable, and it would help the game and its players.
