There is literally nothing in rewards that is game changing, so you want to punish those who actually do play and give them a little reward for that and give everyone a participation trophy? Com on, is it that desperate. Omg they want to give a stupid emblem or dumb cosmetic I'll never use to a dedicated player sniff sniff snarf snarf.

Snif sniff. What advantage will a silly cosmetic do for you? It's a silly event, cry about no trading and get them to change that then ill just give you the dumb helmet no one will wear. God forbid they make a silly little event that gives one thing to players that have been grinding for nothing... It's not fair stomp stomp, make it even now stomp stomp... They even removed power level from pvp so what extra advantage do people get in a contest that is such a non interesting thing

So don't worry little Buddy, you'll get it.[/quote] In one ear and out the other huh, this isn't about me, this is about everyone not being on an even playing field and some getting preferential treatment over their power level being higher than others, someone with a higher power level shouldn't be awarded more points than someone else who did better than them be it in pvp or pve, points should be based on the estimated score (modifiers etc), power level shouldn't be a part of that equation period. I could care less about the helmet or the rewards, what I care about is everyone, E V E R Y O N E, getting a fair shot at getting these items IF they put in the effort to earn points. This game is literally a corpse in a casket already in the grave and you people keep wanting the game to continue down this path, all you care about is getting something others might not get, what I care about is this garbage contest being fair for everyone so those who put in the effort to get the points needed will get their dues, not some "only for the top %" event where everyone at the top get maxed out points all because of some absurd points multiplier in activities dictating who gets more points regardless of the activity difficulty and modifiers and instead takes in account their PL. Bungie removed this garbage already prior from the portal when they admitted it was dumb for tier -blam!-, so why are they bringing it back for this, clearly the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing over there. 3 people in a single activity should be getting the same points period, not someone who's 530+ that got carried by players at 490+

I've been using it to chase the god rolls of old weapons that where lower tier. Farm a bit of salt mines and get easy loot. My warlock is 501, only because I did the Caitl champion mission. Sorry bad memory. I just play at grandmaster and only do ultimate when I need to. I don't care about some useless ornament. And really don't care for ultimate mode.

Checked account, usual suspect. This event is tied to its threshold rewards, there’s very little other reason to do it as even the weapons are old at this point. That being said, if the main incentive of this event is gate kept by power level, then yes, it is ruined for most players. Doesn’t matter if it isn’t game changing, or simply a cosmetic. Anyways bungie said they’ve heard feedback on rewards and modifiers and will make an update in the coming days.

If anything you'd think that people doing the same event withe the same modifiers, but at a reduced power level, would be the ones getting bonus points. 🤔🍻
