Yup....
The primary only/no super/no jumping gameplay killed the fun of pvp for me.
Because sorry but spaming our 100 aim assist primaries isnt skilled or fun at all.
Just makes games slower and uninteresting, and it shows considering how people stopped playing pvp for a while now.
And i miss having a build focusing on my super in trials.
Now if i do that i still get only 1 super at the end of the match and only if i did all the dmg, so why bother.
And the whole "no jumping or you miss shots" killed the dynamic gameplay for good.

Yeah that's why I didn't like trials at all. You get your super so slow that there's no point in building into it. Trials sucks and it's the only pvp mode Bungie ever seems to work on. If the weapons were crap nobody would play it.

Yep exactly. But i guess the remaining people enjoy camping with pulse riffles or to spam hunter knives these days. Good for them, if thats what suits them, but the majority of the player base just gave up on pvp. They would need to erase every change they made since beyond light or witch queen to save pvp. (I dont remember when they introduced super tiers, AE and the no special ammo economy)

I think they need to give two rounds per crate to special weapons at least. I can't bring myself to run one because whether or not I have ammo is few and far between. The first I saw the special ammo economy ruin the game was back in D1 when they started making you lose all your special ammo on death. That's when trials in d1 flatlined and the no land beyond/sidearm meta began. Then they released D2 and doubled down on crippling the special ammo economy in crucible and that's when the game started dying in PVP. We were all happy for years with having an abundance of special ammo. Now it's not a reliable weapon type. That's why everyone has fallen in love with these shotgun hand cannons. They fill a void in the crucible. They're basically a nerfed universal remote. The problem isn't ability spam. It's just that there's no solid consistent way to deal with it.

The system we had was perfectly fine. 2 ammo at the star of each trials round/respawn. 1 ammo pick up per kill on players who had special. It was perfect for years....but : "bwah bwah i cant sit and botwalk with my double primary loadout without getting ohk, bwah bwah relove special bungo" And now that we have a fully primary ammo meta....people still complain, and most players left because of this boring meta.
