Trial is insane today, a mix of lag and cheat. Everything has insane ttk except what I use, and the enemies are bullet sponge, great.
Did a couple matches where I could not land a kill.

IMHO a good chunk of the lag is cheat. Too many people seem to play in ways that take advantage of lag.

Oh yes net limiting is a thing. -
I don't mean to say most laggers have special equipment or a complicated scheme. I think some people know they have a bad connection. Some don't have the wherewithal to improve it. Some don't want to improve it. And probably some make sure their connection is bad. A case can be made that if you know you have a bad connection, whatever the cause, and still play pvp, then you're committing some degree of cheating. I think a distinction can be made based on playstyle. If you know you're lagging, and just naturally fall into a playstyle that takes advantage of the lag because it works, that's one thing. If you know and consciously base your style on the lag that's another. And if you create the lag you're just a shyt. I'd guess most laggers don't really know they're lagging. And it's probably intermittent. Most players aren't knowledgeable enough to reliably assess lag. A lot of what players identify as evidence of lag or cheating really isn't. I remember some videos where a streamer broke down videos players claimed were proof of cheating frame by frame. It almost every case no cheating was involved. Just bad play and the "if you killed me you cheated" attitude. Don't get me wrong. I know both exist to unacceptable degrees. There's just really no solution that will work without side effects that would create worse problems.

I agree, and I don’t suspect every lag to be a cheaters. I was just saying in some case it can be. -
I hear you bud, connection and desync between consoles coupled with low player count is what I put it down too.
