Is there no way I can unlock this manually? I don't want to take a Destiny break :( And why wasn't anything saved on Steam if I only play on PC? If this is really the only way...is it safe to log back in with the link on Steam after the time? :( I don't know what to do this time...I will miss so much! :( Thanks for the quick response

Cross save lets you access another platforms character/progression etc but any progress made is still tied to that platforms Destiny data regardless of where it's done. You will need to reactivate cross save once available and select the platform account that has your characters etc as the active profile. There's no workaround or exceptions being made to the cooldown.
