I suggested a couple years ago that there should be a raid easy/learning mode whereby the rewards do not include raid gear, only rewards similar to a strike. The forum response was negative from the raid gatekeepers.

People disagreeing with you about the devs wasting time and resources on a totally unnecessary feature doesn’t equate to “gatekeeping”. By your own admission it’s been a couple years since you made your suggestion and yet to this date you still haven’t completed a raid. Like the other person who just replied to said, you’ve “gatekept” yourself. We all had to learn the exact same way but the difference is we were actually proactive about learning.

No, you are WRONG. I don't play raids because I do not like them. They are long and boring. My experience and preference have nothing to do with that of others who want an easier raid mode.

Normal raids are the “easier” raids. It’s endgame/aspirational content, it’s not supposed to hold anyone’s hand, that defeats the purpose. Anyway. Stop throwing around the term “gatekeeping” when it doesn’t apply and you don’t know it’s proper use. ✌🏻

  • I ran every raid during D1 and I did not like them. As I said, they are long and boring.

The forum response was negative from the raid gatekeepers.[/quote] The only person gatekeeping you from raids is you. Most are easy and do not need any youtuber 'build' or gigantic dps. I carry new players through raids every day, most of them have average world drop gear and no 'build' and most of them do fine. Stop trying to scare people away from raids.

  • I am not trying to scare anyone. I do not play raids because I find them long and boring. And, no, they are not easy.
