Or how about a lower tier raid mode with no revive tokens restriction and no enrage mechanics.
Perhaps make the weapon drops not enhanceable or eligible for deepsight to make the gatekeepers happy.

U get a raid weapon but no perks on it and no origin trait but comes with plus one reload that’s all
-
-
if youre making it to enrage you need to relook at your build you can two phase any boss currently with basically any loadout
-
Imagine considering that gatekeeping. Everyone has to learn the same way. It shouldn't be dumbed down because someone has no thumbs.
-
I know that there's people out there who play the game without even remotely understanding it.
-
There's a few of them in my clan and they have no issues playing their life in raids once they get a general idea of what is going on
-
Well, some people learn and some don't understand what a heavy weapon is and how to use it.
-
That's fine. Raids still shouldn't be dumbed down for them.
-
Oh look I found one
-
Oh look I found a player who doesn't want to learn the raid just like everyone else had to learn.

Wild Gatekeeper uses gatekeep…it’s not very effective.
Wild Gatekeeper uses gatekeep…it’s not very effective.
All you’ve managed to do is illustrate the fact that you very clearly don’t know the definition or proper use of the term “gatekeeping” and it’s variants. Well done.
-
Not gatekeeping. Why should the raids be dumbed down for anybody? Nothing but crybabies that play this game. It's truly incredible.
-
More content being more accessible to more players is never a bad thing. This game needs players back if it’s going to survive.

Bruh, with all the crap Bungie gives away for free now, from Xur, Rahool, Bento, Wish tokens, whatever… if they went ahead & made “practice mode” raids so that ppl can learn mechanics in a “stress-free environment”, I think they’d lose every last hardcore player they have left, including myself. The summary screen of my first SalvEdge clear is seared in my memory forever. It took 699 minutes, I dont even know how many hours that is, but I’d lose my marbles if some GR5 came in & got some kind of “completion” for learning a mechanic in 10 mins with no adds present.

Edited by SenXXII: 1/23/2025 5:23:37 AMYou're gatekeeping yourself because you're not even TRYING to learn like the rest of us did. You should be inspired to raid and get your own team together like everyone else. No one is stopping you. You realize that WE were in the same situation as you right? We didn't spawn and nailed everything. We tried and failed and learned. Do it like the rest of us or find a Sherpa. Stop blaming others for your failures. Its embarrassing and pathetic.
More content being more accessible to more players is never a bad thing. This game needs players back if it’s going to survive.
There are communities in each raid that teach and/or carry people like you through raids. If you won't seek them out or learn on your own then you're the problem. You are gatekeeping yourself.

The game is accessible to everyone. People just need to stop making excuses and asking for things to be easier than they already are.
