What competitive game does this? Every competitive game i have ever played lets you leave games… On the slim chance they didn’t (which i’ve never seen) you could just close the game

Of course, you can just close the game, you’re right. The point of it is that it discourages people from leaving. I know lots of people would rather just leave than close the game/power off the console entirely. It’s not a perfect solution, but it’s a discouragement.

Yeah, some simple shooter games like Overwatch or Paladins have it. From what I’ve seen, some competitive games that aren’t even shooters have it, too.

Overwatch does not have it? It tells you that you shouldn’t leave, but it doesn’t stop you at all. If you mean warnings, then that’s definitely something they should add.

Nobody reads warnings. I swear Overwatch had it, but I could be wrong. Just some kind of deterrent to leaving matches.
