And that for the actual event activity? Ridiculous. 250 a pvp match isn’t much either. Loot wise it’s not super special either. Sniper only notable new roll is closing time lone wolf. Braytech auto pretty much the same as Breakneck… notable roll zen moment/onslaught or lone wolf/onslaught. The pulse is terrible, the GL notable roll is withering with expl light or bait n switch… honestly they coulda done more. The slug shotgun is absolutely terrible to use. Sure you could learn to use it, but it feels terrible. Low effort event. I hit the 30k in the first week. Useless info I know, but the low candy in haunted really annoys me. Why does a heroic public give over 2x the candy??? It doesn’t make sense. Edit : more whining about the slug from me : It doesn’t even have a red dot. It’s a slug, I could be wrong but the point is headshots. Just guessing where the aim is at is not cool at all. I got the godroll which is 4th time/surrounded but won’t be using it at all because the aim is “Yeah you just guess” . I know; it’s a skill issue, but why use a gun that handles so terribly. I don’t see anyone using it now, and I doubt anyone ever will. Also it isn’t even a rapid burst, it’s just 2 bouncy shots after each other with slightly increased rpm. Just so terrible, and they showcased this gun specifically for this season. Just pisses me off.

It's honestly not that bad. I had 27k+ candy by the end of week one and that's just by playing casually. Try look for a group that has a shattered throne final boss cp and farm it. You get like 300 candy for 5 mins work.

It's not that bad, I thought it was way too much to get but I thought again. I'm nearly at 30k. Not rushing it like other folk do and end up with nothing to do, that's there problem lol

Think that's bad I've had 5 hunter exotic capes with exactly the same roll, spirit of assassin and the woven mail exotic whatever the name, is, I focused for the assassin but to get five of the same other perk is ridiculous

1 ReplyConsidering you have 3 weeks to do it. Its fine. I managed to get 30k without even wearing the mask everytime i play. (Only when i farm an activity) Titles arent meant to be free giveaway participation trophies btw. Its made to show you've put time and efforts to get them.

Just run strikes, Gambit etc or the haunted lost sectors which are very quick. Boring but quick.

Haven't seen as many of those titles as usual, but that may be due to the lower player population.

19 Replies20000 woulda been best. I don’t play incessantly, but I also don’t play very little. I’m only at 13k right now. I think 20k would have been a reasonable amount. (Mind you, I play GMs and what not, so I’m not a casual player)

This is yet one more example of the decision-making by Bungie that is leading to the game having all-time lows in player engagement. I don't think the question "Is this fun for players?" is something they even think of nowadays.

Basically if broken into 3 it's 10k a week. Event is 3 weeks. With the ease of candy acquisition just playing as intended and no lame exploits I found it alright.

I really didn't mind the candy. It dropped from everywhere and everything we did. It was even growing on the trees in the tower. The one I'm finding a boring grind is the Occult Ritual. I don't play crucible or gambit, so grinding battlegrounds is so boring. Why not let master lost sectors and dungeons also count?
