It’s really not too bad. You just need to gather some people and play slow. The slow part is the most important.

My only goal in this game is to apply slow and make crystals in a large group of enemies, and let my team do the rest

That can definitely be fun. Dangerous in a grandmaster level activity though. They don’t mess around.
