I absolutely hate having to upgrade my weapons and armor levels one by one everytime I wanna try something different

Solution: when reach pinnacle cap, every item goes to pinnacle level. Get rid of Upgrade Modules, we are already spending a TON of Enhacement Cores to upgrade (almost) every weapon to use enhanced perks. I think it's really bad to hate something in a game, supposedly to be fun. This BS is just bad design.

  • It's so miserable and I immediately remember how much I hated it before. For the super dedicated players that jump to the new cap, literally as fast as possible, it's probably less of an issue.. but not for me. Still needing to check each slot (for possible boost to hard cap) I've got pieces now sprinkled all throughout my inventory. This is not the way

  • Why do we need upgrade modules anyway? Last time I remember you only need glimmer for infusion material

    • I can't upvote this enough! This is by far the worst part of having to do the pinnacle grind every season. This decision and removing crafting shows Destiny is moving backwards, slowly undoing all the innovations/QOL improvements made since witch queen. I've never seen a dev work so hard against their players. Other live service devs do anything they can to make their players happy and actually listen, arrowhead for example, but Bungie is the polar opposite.

    • Its a terrible system only intended to extend playtime. I always wanted a real FPS RPG with actual RPG stats and leveling up increasing health hit points and real power fantasy. This pinnacle fake 3 numbers go up is dumb.

      • I still think they should've kept it as "Light Level" over Power Level though I get the logic behind the latter given us using Darkness powers in D2. My gripe is that it still feels like nothing changed between the two and that so long as you meet the activity/enemies at the same PL, there's no real incentive to push it further save for a triumph/challenge that gives Bright Dust. Unless hitting the Pinnacle cap gives an innate PvE Damage Resistance that saves me from getting domed by a Scorn Crossbow in Warlord's Ruin, it's nothing more than an antiquated term that means about as much as the rest of the ones that have been thrown into the elemental/subclass systems, which is to say sweet FA.
