Reward us for grinding activities we enjoy. And for people trying to attack activities like Grandmasters or grinding nightfalls it just makes sense. Xur sells expensive gear. The price is fine if we can stock more. Or if f xur was available all week long. Also, it seems strange that, now that he has a designated spot, why he couldn’t be available… but that’s an entirely different conversation.

Bungie has a long history of poor resource management, both with low caps on desirable / high end materials and asinine rules when dismantling items one by one with a 5 sec "Are you sure" bar. Caps are needed because of the way the game tracks assets but a little more thought in certain areas could improve things considerably.
-
Keep in mind it takes 282 coins to go from 0 to reset. 150 max sounds reasonable.
-
raise it to 100,everyones happy xD
-
"How else can we keep you suckers..."WE MEAN GUARDIANS " grinding? ---Them, probably.......
-
Remember we had legendary shards which had no cap? But we had to get rid of those because apparently new people are too dumb to dismantle purple items for shards. According to Bungie
-
They do it to cripple the amount of items you can buy at one time. Not saying I agree with, but I see why they do it.
-
they would have done it if they wanted to but ufortunately Bungie has the player retention over player enjoyment policy
-
There’s that + nothing worthwhile to spend it on (unless you’re a new player mostly). Went outta my way just to get the weekly buff
-
I agree with you completely, but I'd be happy with extras just going to postman at this point

Edited by SnakeEyes734: 11/10/2024 5:32:45 AMThis way you have to log in and play every weekend or you miss out. It's not about players having a fun experience.....it's about how long and how often they can keep the people logged in. * See how this works now?
-
they just need to make everything cheaper
-
I wouldnt mind the cap if i could trade my strange coins in during the week. Maybe xur could stick around and keep his shop open but only offer glimmer. We need a good trade in for glimmer in case we run out while focusing. I do think it would be the death of xur being a mysterious ephemeral character though.
-
I feel like I have to spend all of them each week because it takes no time to acquire 99 more
-
Agree strongly I actively avoid content that rewards SC til Xur comes around, then grind over the weekend. And with the buff, the rate of acquirement caps out really quickly. Even a way to use them between reset & Friday would help.
-
Needs to be like D1 and I do agree.
-
Yeah deffo in the raise the cap, IV been just buying engrams and deleting dem so I'm not loosing out on coins playing this weekend. Maybe give us more 2 spend on too, I bought all I could this week as in shards glimmer n cores, and I even bout the adept tokens even tho I can't buy the new one this week, and I usually do be full up on dem like I am now after buying Dat. So now I jus spend dem on rubbish engrams to delete them, the upside tho, is the rank rewards to get that cipher. So because of the little that is given on a week that doesn't have the class item 2 require, the bang outs like myself some weeks jus have 2 spend it on stuff to delete just to rank up. Your also right, even after spending all the coins the day B4 xur goes, I find myself max coins a few days before he comes back and dats more waste in my opinion.
-
Don't stop there: just take the limits off all resources. Glimmer, strange coins, infuse modules ... all of told one constantly needs. There is logical reason to put caps on these things.
-
But our space magic pockets can only hold so much.
-
And also increase or remove the caps on nf/ trials tokens.
-
At least 250
-
I would have over 20k if there wasn't a cap
-
100% Better move is just make Xur a permanent vendor, then the 99 cap doesn't matter. Alternatively reward more strange coins for activities played during Xur presence.
-
We don't need a cap increase, and i'm saying that as someone who is always grinding on this god forsaken game. We need a means to spend them outside of xur being around, like on cores, prisms or hella scendant shards. Anything to let us dump them. The cap isn't a problem, xur having bad rewards half the time is.
-
i doubt bungie will do that but a fair number would be 250 without a boost.
