Bungie Name changes are currently experiencing technical difficulties, which is preventing everyone from changing their name. Bungie is fully aware and working hard towards a fix. For now, continue to play as normal and check back at a later time to see if this has been rectified.

It's not game breaking, and it has zero impact on the game, so it's totally understandable for this to be a low priority. You can still very much play the game as normal. Bungie has more important matters to attend to. Regardless, it will be fixed at some point. You just need to be patient. -
You sure are right about that but some people do care about their username being what they used and got used to.Check reddit like forums it sure does not sit right by alot of players,but yeah it doesn’t impact the player base not little bit.its just a name
