Forever 1809
I’ve been stuck at 1809 gear level for literal months now because I can’t get a pinnacle to drop in the slot I need it to. Never reached 1810 last season and I still can’t seems to get lucky enough this season… Please please please change the algorithm to favor spots that we need to level up. This is absurd.

1 single weekly pinnacle gear option at hawthorne would be nice. or like purchasing something at end of raid. but leaks are power level getting changed would also be fine

If you were playing more than one character, you would be 1810 by now. Don't think you are in the same group as those of us that were forever 29's that were trying to get a fusion rifle to drop.

3 RepliesEdited by ULiano_III: 6/4/2023 1:28:15 PMLike I said months ago. Pinnacles should be on a Knockout list. There should be enough Pinnacles for 5 Armor drops guaranteed. Second, if that is too comicated to implement.. when a Pinnacle Engram drops, let the player go to Rahool, hover over the engram, and choose where the Pinnacle decrypts to. So, let the player actually choose. That doesn't sound like that would be hard to implement.

1 ReplyIt’s okay to not have 1810 in every slot. I missed heavy all last season. Didn’t get it until my last dungeon completion last week. It doesn’t matter. Even in trials, if you’re a point below, just let it go. You won’t notice the difference. The perks are important, not the numbers.

With extended barrel, ricochet rounds, rangefinder, but geez🤦🏽♂️, I was forsaken with Incandescent instead of target lock.

I did not get the pinnacle I needed last season for 1810, but got it within the 1st 2 weeks of this season, it's just a matter of doing as many pinnacle activities per week as possible.

If you are missing an armor piece Root of Nightmares and the new dungeon are your best bet. Quite a few chances in there for that 1810 piece you are missing to drop.

It is. I've been sitting at 1810, and gotten multiple drops for every single piece of gear EXCEPT my kinetic weapons. They will not drop on any pinnacle at all. This has been going since like halfway through last season, and I hit up all the pinnacle stuff I can each week. I hate it so much😂.

That happened to me, needed 1810 to drop in kinetic and got everything but. Finally dropped at the end of dares this week. I was starting to wonder if it’s a bug.

2 RepliesWhy not use the season armor to get those final pieces of gear and weapons. If all you need is one piece, your pinnacle, exotics, primed engrams will all be 1810. All three of my characters are 1810 and I achieve this at the end of the last season.

You pretty much only play 1 character which means a decent amount of luck is required in order to hit the pinnacle cap within 1 season, I’m not surprised you still aren’t 1810. Actively playing just 2 characters instead of 3 will extend the grind by at least 1 month.

25 RepliesWorking as attended, It's funny how they changed things convincing the fans as usual that they "improved the game" that most fell for when all they did was look for ways as they always do and have for years now around the problem they caused, and that is having most of you doing absolutely nothing at all but run on a hamster-wheel. This change only showed the lack of talent this business has in keeping players engaged in the content they designed which is very poor quality work vs most other gaming businesses out to date. It's 2023 and they are still living in the past as if it's 2001. This outdated business needs to be removed from this game.

Landing the final piece of 1,810 armor didn't happen for all three of my characters until the last couple of weeks through last season. Of course, there are plenty of other opportunities out there to acquire pinnacles that could have sped up the process that I wasn't participating in. Whether it's dungeons, raids, Trials of Osiris, or specific seasonal activities that I'm locked out of (due to not owning the expansion) this is all content I've been ignoring as of late. If you're actually paying for the expansion, it sounds as though you're just not putting in enough work to get the most out of every possible pinnacle possibility. Being limited by what I can actually take part in, it's good to not have to pay extra for anything to reach the highest power. That and my RNG isn't too awful.
