1. Steam PC 2. game loads and skips the very first loading emblem and sometimes goes to the sign in othertimes it just crashes after skipping. 3. I don't know but it cant be that many

PC through Gamepass for PC freezes upon connection number of friends online is irrelevant The only fix I have found is to go into the app settings and click repair twice, after which the game works as intended until the next load. This indicates a problem with the game files or server identification, neither of which is a problem caused by the end-user.

Xbox SX, upon hitting A to start, every time. No error codes, just freezes up. Resetting console fixes it till next login

in reality the real problem was the last update that you did and I also think the cross play because I am a player who comes from destiny 1 and I know this game well in the sense that it is fine by itself ... however it happens to me that when I choose the class I freeze everything when I am in orbit is horrible and I am from the steam platform

I have another friend with this problem.

PC using Steam with ethernet connection to my router. I usually get this when I try to travel to another sight, or select a character. But the last two times it happened was during the public event on the Moon. The first two times it happened I was put in a que to log in. Sorry I don't recall the message it gave me.

I am on Playstation 4. I am getting the error after selecting my character from the main login menu. This time I got the error reloaded my game and my entire character was gone and I'm not sure why. I can't figure out how to get it back. No one deleted it, I have all the security measures set up so I know no one logged in with my stuff and did it. It was there before the error and now it's gone. Please fix this. Please give me the character I've been playing for years back.

Hi, this is a message for your server engineers, from one systems engineer to others... You need to update your "server and update status" page when this happens. When googling for destiny 2 server status, the first page that comes up is down detector: https://downdetector.com/status/destiny/ On this page, there is a graph that shows how many users are complaining about server connection problems. It is quite clear you are having a problem with server connections, yet you still have not yet updated your server status page? Who is responsible for maintaining that page? Also, what is really going on? Are you having a problem with load balancers? Is it a cloud server capacity issue? A software glitch? You must have more information regarding this issue that you are not sharing. That is a lack of transparency which leads to a lack of confidence in your users of your service. If you would be more upfront, honest and transparent regarding the actual known causes of this issue, then people would be far more understanding and patient. It is quite clear this is still an ongoing issue that you are experiencing, so you must also be seeing the number of active users dropping, as a direct result. Users don't have patience or tolerance for server connection errors and this type of instability. Especially when there is no compensation provided for users who were in the middle of a long raid or mission and lost a lot of progress, and wasted a lot of their time. When this happens, users expect to be re-compensated for their lost time and lost progress for server-side issues that are not their fault. https://help.bungie.net/hc/en-us/articles/360049199271-Destiny-Server-and-Update-Status It is also already clear that the platform does not matter, as you have enough data to see this is a server side issue that does not depend on the end user client. The number of friends online also is irrelevant.

1. Platform: Playstation 5 2. Crash: When selecting class. 3. 1 Friend online currently playing D2. I reported on this issue months ago and found that if I wait roughly 10-15sec at the class selection screen prior to selecting a class, I have no issues. I also notice that when this happens, I'm generally pushed through the "connecting" and "sign in" process significantly faster than I ever was before this was an issue. As if I'm getting to the class selection screen faster than intended.

I'm on PS4, base console. Didn't start crashing until last night 6/22/21 Game was fine during Expunge, but when I went to the tower it booted me back to orbit and the 2nd attempt sent me back to the title screen, after that I reset my modem and was able to go to the tower briefly before getting booted back to title screen again. There were 7 online during the initial crash, and only 2 online today. Game is fine is I just hang out in Orbit, it will say 'connecting to destiny servers' then it will right itself, but if I try to go anywhere it will boot me back to title screen.

Xbox one, crashed during splicer round, it tried to reinstall again and crashed at sign in with beagle error. Uninstalled game completely reset Xbox one and cleared cache' reinstalled worked till the 3rd match in crucible and crashed again. No error message. Game shut down then automatically tried to reinstall. Doing a manual again. No other games on my system are affected.
