Presage Boss Teleporting
I am noticing every time I run the Presage mission that the boss is teleporting randomly across the arena. Only below during the main battle but it has been causing flawless runs to end.

I am so done with this. I just lost my third Master Presage Flawless run due to the boss just teleporting to me and one tapping me. Can we please fix at least the boss already?

4 RepliesBungie really nailed the horror aspect in this, every time the boss teleports I pretty much s*** myself! More seriously this is an ongoing problem that's getting worse and worse in Destiny 2 right now, more and more enemies are "lagging out" and teleporting around, why is it happening?

Yup, I've lost a flawless attempt because of that. Boss across the boiler basement, shoot at him once and Oh ok now he's in my face so fast that when he hit me I got physics killed against the wall. Nice.

Gotta say I was disappointed. I've never seen this happen before so when I was reading twab and they said they were addressing teleporting enemies, I thought overload champions were finally getting toned down. Sucks that happened to you though and it's good they're fixing it.

Fortunately, the most recent TWAB addressed this 'inordinate amount of teleporting' issue - it seems that it is being affected by the changes made in update 3.0.0. I guess by combining various network streams into a single stream the network pipeline is congested and leading to increased enemy teleportation, who knew. This was compounded by the increased enemy density in the season of the chosen battlegrounds activity, as well as resources intensive flamethrower cabal enemy types. A new reason to hate those things. Apparently there are some improvements coming up to mitigate the issue. It is actually kind of interesting... if you are into that sort of thing.
