Our beloved friend @Michalka has passed away. I know all of us enjoyed gaming with her, talking keyboards, and just having her around. She was always a solid voice of reason and a pillar of this community, and it's heartbreaking to see her go so soon. We mourn today the loss of a friend.

Though we live everyday as well as we can, we often forget or don't embrace the fact that one day, our Light will fade and become one more part of the whole. About 10 years ago when I was 21 a best friend I love with my whole being took her own life, and I carried blame and regret for years. Now at 30, experienced some bad, I know that some people just can't find another way out of their prison. On that note, I never knew Michalka, but having such amazing friends through out my life and losing some, each one we grow fond of or share a bond with passes on some of their Light to us, thus making us more whole and being able to wield those fond memories as weapons against the Darkness we all face in our individual lives. Eyes up Guardians, and stand together in these trying times. At least we have each other, and even not knowing the majority of you, that's enough for me. Stay safe and take care of each other Guardians 🤙 see you star side

Everyone has a story about playing with her, and everyone was blessed to have known her. She was a point of inclusion, being another gay woman to make my wife and I feel welcome, and it was nice to not be alone. She will be missed, but she will never be forgotten, and we will fight forever in her name. Rest in peace guardian.

wow, it's just so crazy to be talking to someone one day and then them be gone the next. I never got the chance to play with her, but just talking to her she came across as a great person. Seeing the vast amount of lives she touched is truly stunning, rest in peace Michalka.
