Why is requiring heavy weapon kills in Iron Banner as quest step again?! It completely breaks up the flow of the questline and forces people to farm the heavy ammo spawns, basically it isn’t fun to do at all and really makes Iron Banner much more stressful to play.

Bungie is so stupid; whomever is in charge of creating PvP quests needs to be fired and blacklisted from all future PvP games, forever.
-
-
Is it really that big of a deal? Heavy spawns in most game types and PvP players should go for it for easy kills. Seems like it should be a natural game mechanic to do.
-
Its only 10 killls and heavy amo is shared. Its really jot that big of a deal.
-
It's 10 kills. Heavy ammo is communal AND spawns multiple times a match. I got the entire quest done yesterday. Its not as bad as you make it out to be. Use a grenade launcher or machine gun. Large amounts of ammo and you can get a few kills if you play it safe.

So many posts about heavy and zero replies from Bungie tells you what?
-
It changes the game objective from control to fight over the heavy. That's the real problem with the quest step, it's not actually doing it.

Edited by Night_Fury147: 6/12/2021 8:34:27 PMI absolutely hate going for heavy ammo in normal Crucible, let alone Iron Banner. One of two things always happens: 1) You die trying to pick it up. Or 2) You die immediately after picking it up (before you can get a kill). Additionally, it is beyond frustrating when your team is not gunning hard to claim the heavy ammo. Bungie, the players do not like this shit. Stop making us use specific weapon types and subclasses in PvP (especially in Iron Banner). If you must do this, make it so that your teammate’s kills count towards your progress. That way those MF do the work for for us. Unless they do something about that step, I have no intention on completing the quest this season.

Skipping the quest and focusing on my IB bounties. Not wasting my time getting killed by campers. If Bungle wants to fix it that's their choice.

I have 1 kill in 6 matches. Can’t even get the ammo. I’ve only gotten it once aside from those times where I immediately did when I pick it up. It’s such a poorly thought out quests step. It’s so obvious. How do things like this get past testing and quality control?
-
Its 10 kills. That's it. 10 kills. Hardly the end of the world
-
Its 10 kills 10! And heavy spawns like every 2 mins! Grab wardcliff, truth, 1k, eot, deathbringer or two tailed fox and you're gold
Why is requiring heavy weapon kills in Iron Banner as quest step again?
It's kinda similar, I just wrapped a towel around it. Recycled guns, now recycled quests. Sorry, I'm not really creative. I'll probably do the same on this game.

Get there faster

Bungie never learns. They enjoy making pvp a cesspool.
-
It is fun once you've completed it, you know the entire enemy team is gonna be there n then stasis attack
-
I agree completely with you I am stuck on this step and because of it I dont even want to play anymore. If you can progress why bother.
-
Shit its better then a control point
-
I agree it removes players from games objectives
-
Last time they did the with a ib weapon didn't they take it out because people were complaining wh ywould they do it again
-
They don’t know what they are doing. It is very obvious at this point that they are lost and just “throwing spaghetti against the wall” to see what sticks. I don’t have and issue with the heavy part but PVP as a whole is my issue. It is not about gun play.

let's vote on it https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/258383961

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, The House of Devils marked you as Public Enemy Number One after you trashed their Prime Servitor, but — Your old friend Sepiks Prime is back, and apparently better than ever, thanks to the Devil Splicers and SIVA. Zavala’s not too happy about the idea of the Splicers playing god-maker and I can’t blame him. [Ghost:] So, what you’re saying is it’s time we returned to the scene of the crime. I’m sure the Fallen will be happy to see us.

Because bungie has no clue.
