[i]Alignment fades in the area and looks inside the cave.[/i]
[b]Alignment:[/b] “This seems to hold some obvious danger, but with danger comes discovery of some sort!”

[i]You feel a sense of oppression as the area around you seems to be under a curse or spell dampening your abilities. As you look around the entrance, you see a small ship with mechanical pieces and salvage laying with in.[/i]

[b]Alignment:[/b] “Now what could this be doing here?” [i]Alignment splits his ball in two and sends one floating around the ship to test any traps that could possibly be around[/i]

[i]You find no traps but you do stumble across an odd machine that seems to regulate blood and some other fluid...[/i]

[b]Alignment:[/b] “Medical equipment? This must have been some sort of camp or hideout.” [i]Alignment approaches the ship to examine the salvage and inspect the ship.[/i]

[i]As you inspect the ship you find traces of Weird and a old book that seems to have a journal of sorts... you also find several other names such as Aku, green eye...[/i]

[b]Alignment:[/b] “Aku? I believe I met him last year. I’ll have to read this journal at another time.” [i]Alignment heads deeper into the cave.[/i]

[i]As you move in the tunnel the dirt floor gives away to metal and the dark brightens to artificial light...[/i] [i] A metal door appears in front of you...[/i]

[b]Alignment:[/b] “Not a camp, but a lab? Now I’m interested.” [i]Alignment knocks on the door and presses his ear on it to listen for a response or noise on the other side.[/i]

[i]The door slides open and you fall in, you see a familiar sight as you see your agility from long past in front you. [/i] “Ah another contestant” a voice says over head. “Welcome to my [u]test[/u] can you survive?” [i]The test comes alive around you and you see the path a head filled with obstacles and and threats some of your making some of another making...[/i]

[b]Alignment:[/b] “Hello? I think you misunderstand. I’m not here to participate, but to investigate. I would love to help you with your research afterwards.”

“ non-complaint are we? We have a motivator for such people as you...” [i]The lights shut off and turn on again but in a greenish glow, what was once there is no more. Instead, a pit of massacred and disfigured Neko lay ahead...[/i] “Hmmmm, renominates of the great genocide of the nekos? Do you remember that event? Take a look, no need to hide. I know you want to find what this means...”

[b]Alignment:[/b] “I think the word you meant to say was compliant, mister... what the hell is this?! Who would keep these things here?!”

All had a different view about it.” [i]The lights flicker and you see your own experiments, specifically the ones that went wrong. Before you return back to the view of death.[/i] “We all have happy little mistakes don’t we now?”

[b]Alignment:[/b] “... happy is not the appropriate adjective to describe these kinds of moments. They might be useful in the grand scheme of things, but if they ever brought me a trace of happiness, I’d be a madman.”

In other words, this test is a tribute to you.” [i]The green light fades and the only source is your own...[/i] “Now, investigate like a good researcher, tell me what I have ———...” [i]the voice cuts off and your left in dark to investigate the scene...[/i]

[b]Alignment:[/b] “Whoever shut that person up might be the SOS sender.” [i]Alignment snaps his fingers to create a laser between the 2 balls he made in order to light up the room more.[/i]

[i]Your orbs illuminate the room, but they flicker and cast long shadows on the dead Nekos...[/i]

[b]Alignment:[/b] “Disgusting. No one should toy with life in such a vile way.” [i]Alignment continues to wander around the area to find anything of interest.[/i]

[i]As you scan the “subjects” you find notes that correlate to each “test” that took place...[/i]

[i]Alignment tries to read the notes while straining to look at the mess.[/i]

[i]Test 4: Subjects 4-6 [b]Name[/b]: Skinnings [b]Notes[/b]: As one Neko was skinned before the eyes of the other two alive. Subject 6 froze in fear while subject 4 seemed to scream and cry as the subject 5 bled out. Afterwards, subject was given the choice of personal freedom for the life of 4 or self sacrifice. Subject 5 was unresponsive. To motivate a response, subject 5 was subject to a femur break. Response given was personal freedom. Subject five witness the subject fours dismemberment. Subject 5 died to its own wounds but was given the ability to leave.[/i]

[b]Alignment:[/b] “I’m going to burn this place to the ground.” [i]Alignment continues to search the area.[/i]

[i]you come across what seems to be an arena... bodies are piled high with several different wounds...[/i]

[i]Disgusted by the scene and determined to find the one responsible, Alignment tries to move around the pile to find another room.[/i]

[i]You successfully find another room detached room, one untouched by the mass grave in the other room. You find living underfed Nekos, clinging on to life. They are contained in a clean terrarium, a sick joke of freedom.[/i]
