Three characters got me at least 10 engrams a week for two years.
That’s 104 weeks times 10 engrams equals 1,040 total engrams
With at least one legendary worth 100 bright dust.
1,040 times 100 is at least
104,000 bright dust.
I’m not even including special events that have double engrams or deleting your shaders, or any lucky exotic item worth 500!
So ask yourself where did I spend my brightdust?
Was it on bad juju, ships, sparrrows, armor, ghosts?
You had same opportunities as everyone else.
Just like in life ask yourself where did I waste my money, $100 meal for one night, or $100 groceries to last a week?
Economics is not for everyone, and saving is hard!
It never matters what economy you are talking about some people just never get ahead, most of the time it’s their own spending habits that is their downfall!
Best thing in life I ever did was buy a home, and through the process I was told to monitor all my spending and learn, where is my money going?
So where did you spend your Bright dust.

Except 90%+ of the items can't be bought with bright dust. Don't be a shill.
-
Why do you feel like you need them? You want them there is a difference. Get over it or pay up! Simple as that!
-
I paid for the game, why are you even defending this bs practice when clearly you understand the very principle of your argument?
-
I defend their right to make money! And all you whiny people that don’t want to spend money quit crying they are a big bad evil corporation. They need to make money, and you want to play their game. You don’t need a damn thing in the eververse store, you want it! If you want it that bad, buy it or shut up.
-
I didn't spend any bright dust, I also can't earn enough bright dust. Its like telling the homeless guy to save up.
-
Well the homeless guy is there by choice. I have no pity for the homeless.
-
By choice how? No one chooses to be homeless
-
They obviously messed up somewhere in life, hence homeless. I have no pity for the homeless, I know there is a epidemic in California, but I would suggest most of them chose to be there. Let’s see the reasons. Can’t manage money, can’t handle addictions, can’t handle keeping a job, can’t ask for help from family, because the family knows them best, and knows they have messed up some where.
-
Dude in London alone, there's a shortage of homes in the hundreds of thousands, it's nationwide too, homeless has never been higher, people with full time jobs are even homeless, no homes, rent extortionate and unaffordable. Cost of living keeps going up, wages don't. 1 skip IRL, miss a few mortgage payments bcoz of illness n that's it, you're done. Sure there are lots of homeless people who were weak, etc, n it's in them but there's also a huge amount who literally have no choice.
-
Sorry I bought a cheap home, didn’t miss a payment, and paid it off quick. Ps I worked in the US just over minimum wage and was able to do that. People are going with small homes now because they like myself don’t want huge payments that could lead you to that situation. People that have jobs and are going homeless made mistakes like lots of my friends buying homes they should not have bought, cars they shouldn’t have. Went into massive credit debt. All their own fault my car is ten years old and I only bought it two years ago. Honda with 70,000 miles on it. I plan on it lasting another five years of gas is still a thing. Give me any example of a homeless person and I’ll show you a million ways they could have done different.
-
Which part of 'theres more people than houses' did you not understand? Do you even math?
-
Well not everyone lives alone, can you do critical thinking? Guess not. If you care so much for the homeless open your home up! Give them free food water and shelter. Go ahead. I’m sure they would love it. Once again almost all homeless people are that way because they choose to be. They messed up in life. Most can’t manage their life.
-
I'm guessing you're American? Typical ignorant attitude of only America exists. We're done here, let's hope you don't get ill or have a death in the family whichbaffects your way of life.
Don't reply, you're muted
-
Ha well sorry you can’t stand being proven wrong
-
I have seen you multiple times defending this shady crap what an adult you are oh wait " I dont pity the homeless " your just a douchebag who thinks he knows everything
-
You think I care about a junkie? Really? I’m sorry, most are junkies and I could care less!
-
When I had more free time, before a wife, kids, work, I volunteered at shelters and did some outreach for homeless. Most of the folks I came across were living in the streets due to addiction of alcohol or drugs. They won't go to shelters because the shelters expect them to be drug and alcohol free. They choose to live in the streets for that next fix. Most people don't know any of this because they talk a good game but never actually get out and try to help. As far as your original comment goes you're absolutely correct. I have over 110k in bright dust because I didn't squander it on crap.
-
I now as well because I’m no spring chicken. I to helped out at a homeless shelter feeding the homeless. Some are just in bad situations, but their life still brought them there.
-
I spent 120,000 on metro shift because Tess went 3 months without selling it and I didn’t know in year 2 they were going to add it to collections.
-
Not the point. This is aimed at picking up new players who are used to the cosmetic model. New players get a pittance of bright dust and can't buy anything, nevermind everything. This after spending 60.00 on the next year's content.

I have over 9k left, that's just HOW PRICY they made things, they sneak changed prices before shadowkeep and after launch then changed it a third time even higher You know somethings wrong when a shitty lazy garbo emote costs 1000 silver but a -blam!-ing awesome ornament for an exotic costs 600. Eververse needs a redesign and the majority of these things (ships, sparrows, ghosts, shaders, transmats etc) should all be put IN the expansions we -blam!-ing pay for, we paid for content, they're greedy, if they weren't and didn't bet everything they have on eververse maybe more people would be interested into buying the dlcs and seasons and maybe even paying for ornaments or exotics in eververse every now and then.

Edited by Oryx's Slimy Worm: 10/31/2019 5:59:22 AMThink you missed the point... Eververse use to only be ghost, emotes, and oraments. Now, it is the main focus of the game. Put it this way - *Dark forest is reused content of reused content *The one reward from the event is reused content (but its disco flavored) *Nearly all event items for Eververse are new *Inflated item cost due to event No new content was created for this event, however Eververse recieved a face lift again. I get now that D2 is free to play that Bungie needs to make money, but old players have spent 300-400+ on expansions alone (if you have played since D1 day 1), and we dont care to pay for something that was once free. Which makes more logical sense... a.) 1 bright engram (+1 event engram) per level up. Deleting acquired gear grants bright dust so that you can buy the item you would like b.) 10 total engrams per season. Deleting acquired gear grants legendary shards. Please throw money at the screen Bright dust is half the issue, the other half is the sheer greed and laziness that fuels it.

Not everyone has been playing for years. I started 6 months ago
-
Glad you found the game! Is there a reason you want me to know you started playing six months ago? Just curious why you felt the need to tell me?
-
Because my point is that we dont have 100k dust saved up, it would be physically impossible for me to by everything. So I agree with the op. The pricing is too much
