My point is that we have so many powerful options in this game, I don't think we would ever truly NEED either. If anyone thinks otherwise, they'd be delusional. In D1, there wasn't much of a reason to take either of those off for the most part. Not really a problem here. Yes, Gjallarhorn is insane, but I doubt it would compete with Swarm plus tractor or even Mountaintop in terms of DPS or overall damage. Might be awesome for instantaneous damage, but that's it.

My bet would be that if we did get them...the catalysts would be. Faster regen for icebreaker or ammo back on crit kill. And more wolfpack rounds for gjally.

True. I mean, Icebreaker breaks the ammo economy anyways. Most would say it doesn't need to be here. But with rocket launchers the way they are, I don't think Gjally would be too bad. Yes, it would be the best rocket, as it should be, but I don't think it would be the best heavy all around unless Bungie rolled around some fat nerfs. Grenade launchers are like, 3 times more effective than rockets at the moment.

Thats because bungie nerfed rocket launchers. Maybe they will give us a void pinacle rocket weapon with seeker clusters next ?
