actually for the longer charge up ones there is a difficulty curve. learning when to poke and geting them just as you're charged takes time.

Yeah, they're so easy to use that literally everyone runs Shotguns in every single pvp gamemode lmao. DRB is statistically the most used kinetic weapon in every mode for over 5 months now, and there isn't a single Fusion (except Jotunn) that even shows up on the top 5 most used energy weapons on guardian.gg. A Shotgun scrub talking shit about Fusions in a Shotgun Meta is laughable.

It’s hard to get killed by shotguns, at least for me. I don’t charge corners cuz the motion sensor picks everything up, shotguns have no range compared to the fusion rifles.
