Honestly I know exactly what you're talking about, I'm 16 going on 17 and I had a decently tuff childhood at both my mum and father's house and it came to a head when my mum passed pretty much three years ago now and I went into complete emotional shock. I never had many friends and had just picked up the taken king bundle (I think the April update had came out like two weeks prior) so I just started hardcore dumping time into destiny, I met a few really cool guys that became some really good friends, and through them I made a few super close friends that I would personally consider more family to me than some of my actual family. Like seriously I'm a completely different person because of the friends I made and I'm all the better for it. Hell I was just talking and playing crucible with one of those friends

That's great it helped you overcome that and I'm glad you were able to meet great people like I was able to! :D

Thanks, it's really nice to hear that there are people that have had such similar and positive experiences with destiny. I was wondering if you'd be down to play sometime, my PSN's xXThe-SlayerXx69 (I know it's cringy I made this account years ago and deeply regret it now) but if not then it's whatever, either way thanks for the post and being open and honest about what the game's help you with. Its It's always nice to see some positivity on the forums
