Missed the point of people’s anger by a mile.
1. No skill matching.
2. No protection from stacked and clan teams.
3. Pinnacle weapon.
4. Then a quest where dying cost you progress.
It’s another example of no respect for the average player.
I’ve had SIX Quickplay matches mercied

I am below average and it took me 4 games. So you had some bad RNG for some games. Just keep playing, who said everyone had to have it in 2 hours. So what if it takes 3 or 4 days.
-
Edited by TheArtist: 1/31/2019 6:03:30 PMThe point is that it’s not enjoyable. Regardless of the time. As evidenced by the declining player engagement.
-
Pretty sure ‘the average player’ will have no trouble with this quest.
-
Edited by TJ_Dot: 1/30/2019 7:30:07 PMYou triggered him. Going Italics and everything
-
Lol. I actually laughed out loud about italics.
-
Edited by TheArtist: 1/30/2019 7:14:11 PMReally?? Apparently you haven’t been reading the threads. What I’m seeing is a lot of average players complaining, and comp players telling them to shut up.
-
I’m an average player got the quest step done in 3 games
-
I sure have. Pretty sure most of the people complaining haven’t even give it a good go. You literally need to average a 1kda to do it?!
-
.51 kd actually
-
And the way QP matchmaking is set up right now you need to be a better player than that in order to do that. Since the best players are using QP as a pubstomping ground and are over represented in the lobbies. You’re not listening. But then that’s why Crucible numbers are dropping and I was shocked at how long it was taking the game to matchmaker last night.
-
Well here’s a tip for them I saw on another post, and I can’t stress this enough. LEAVE THE MATCH IF YOU ARE GETTING SLAYED
-
Which is what I had to do to get the bounty done around this game’s broken matchmaking. After I got matched with the same STREAMER——Sliq_TV—-three matches in a row.
-
2% for a kill, 1% for assist, -1% for dieing. The average player has a 1.0kd. Do the math a 1.0kd can absolutely get this gun. If you're below 1.0kd you're not average.
-
When you’re throw int lobbies with multiple people in the Top 1% you are not goinrg to walk away with a 1.0. Especially when those guys are running around with Luna’s Howls, Wavespliters, and steamrolling around the map. Because even if you can hold your own in the gun fights, other people are feeding them kills. They are chaining their supers, and dominating the heavy. The MMing infusion Quickplay is broken and designed to serve average players up to the elite as cannon fodder. You only see about 2 matches in 6 that are remotely competitive. I got that bounty done by basically quitting out and going to play Mayhem. Got tired of the pub stomping and losing to Luna’s Howl every third gunfight. Oh, and the atrociously long matchmaking times. No wonder Bungie’s coming to us with hat-in-hand trying to figure out how to fix it.
-
Edited by PseudoGorilla: 1/30/2019 5:36:05 PMDude...you haven’t even played quickplay since the 24th according to your game history. And in your Mayhem matches you’re pulling a 2.25. So what are you complaining about again??
-
Murder by facts
-
PSN account. Warlock.

I actually cant stop laughing right now. Looked you up and the last game you lost on retribution, the top player on the other team is a 0.7kd. Do you even know what a top player is
-
....and you don't know how to read a game history. Since the last match that I lost on Retribution was a Control macth that we lost 146-128. Where I got dumped into the late stages for the losing side. Where of course everyone had super energy, and I didn't. The top player on the other side was had 28 kills and a KA/D of 3.5. Exactly DOUBLE that of the top player on my----the losing side. And I posted clean TWO kills and an efficiency of 0.67....because I died THREE times to those two kills. But this was actually one of the BETTER lobbies since the guy who topped the leaderboard had a Quickplay KD of 1.44 and a KA/D of 1.74 according to DestinyTracker which would probably put him in about the top 15% of Crucible players. And of course if you hadn't been laughing so hard that you couldn't read the right information, you have noticed the lobbies where the winners were posting efficiencies of FOUR......FIVE....then the was the match I quit out of because it was so lopsided where the top player on the other team ended up posting a SEVEN. Oh....and THEN there was the match on Burnout (quit out of that one) where the TOP TWO players on the other side ended up posting a TWELVE and a TEN respectively. So...what is it again that I'm FAILING to recognize about this game's BROKEN matchmaking that you'd like to tell me about....exactly??
-
So you deleted your gamer tag from your earlier comment and now no one can verify your statements. Nice one... But I'm gonna leave you alone now. You clearly have personal issues with the game that you have to work through
-
Edited by TheArtist: 1/31/2019 11:45:49 AMLOL.... Dude just stop. Just because you don't know what you're doing doesn't mean I'm trying to hide anything. I have ONE gamer tag in this setting....and you're looking at it. I have TWO Destiny accounts---PSN, and Battlenet----all linked to this tag. If you want to look further I have an old Xbox account for Destiny 1 that I let lapse and never carried over to Destiny 2. Learn how to actually USE this system before you decide to go full punk and call someone out. My game history is clearly displayed for all to see---and always has been---for those who actually know HOW TO USE the website. I've got nothing to hide.

Edited by xMateo619x: 1/31/2019 11:59:46 AMI took a few minutes to double check. First- the name that you have showing is Kellygreen2 I went through your profile to find the actual gamertag is kellygreen45 not much different but it's not like anyone would guess those numbers. Second: I did look through quickly and missed the fact that it was an unfinished game. But by no means are you actually matching against top tier players. Your matches are quite average, if your matching against full fireteam you might have some trouble because they can communicate. But what's amazing is that this app that you're using to argue with people actually has a feature to find people to party up with and help in anything you're having trouble with.
-
Right. Like the guy showing with the 1.6 KD claiming to be “average”. I think some of you really don’t understand what that word means in a setting like this. Which is why pvp is so toxic and pve players really dislike you guys. Seriously.
-
I dont believe you're playing top 1% every game. Link your matches. Also a .51 kd can earn last word. It's not hard. Source I'm a top 2% player.

Edited by TheArtist: 1/30/2019 7:08:38 PMGoogle: Pareto Principle. Sols has run the numbers for Quickplay. I got matched with the same streamer in like 3 consecutive matches.
