They do what they did in D1, make the old gear obsolete. Suddenly you have tons of new space for all the “ new” gear

Bungie likes to make our old gear irrelevant. This way, new players don’t feel left out. Maybe it will be different this time? As it stands there does not appear to be “tons” of loot, just tons of repeat drops. Hopefully Bungie just adds to this instead of making our old gear useless and underpowered.
