I'd consider myself highly skilled in PvP, and I agree that pulse rifles are insanely consistent if you have a good aim.
I used Thorn for a bit in Y1 sweats, but other than that I've always used a pulse as my main.

I don't normally look at stats but you claiming to be highly skilled prompted me to look. Well, after seeing them I will shut my mouth. I also used to love my thorn in yr1 and contrary to what people think, I just used to love the way it handled and it's noise. It was never about the DOT but it helped lol

I enjoyed the dot keeping shields down in missions and on warlocks :)

Edited by ApexReaper_15: 5/29/2017 9:48:29 AMok from your stats you're obviously pretty -blam!-ing good also taking into consideration you play sweats, I used to sweat myself and was mostly top 1% for everything and held 2.0 kd's on my main so I was ok I guess before I mostly stopped playing this game, and you sir are clearly much better than I was but I would never start a sentence with I consider myself highly skilled in pvp and I don't see even the best of the best talking like that either even though they certainly are highly skilled and probably know it. I know it seems like I'm being really nitpicky but tbh I don't really care that much but I'm just saying modesty in addition to skill is honestly the icing on the cake.

It's clear he is a top notch PvP player. Mentioning this does help to give weight to his opinion on pulse rifles. Especially when most people who post this sort of thing on here have no real idea of what really works at a high level.

I agree about pulses, I have a great roll on my Parthian shot and I 2 burst people if they're all crits

Thanks. I was actually averaging above a 4 KD this week in Trials, but I played some pretty solid teams during my last card and it dropped a bit. :(

My PDX is amazing. I passed up a lot of very good rolls waiting for this perfect roll. I held onto a PDX package for about 3 months before this one came up. Most people had already settled for Hammer Forge, Perfect Balance, Rifled...or Perfect Balance, Rifled, Hidden Hand...or Full Auto, Perfect Balance, and Rifled.... There were a lot of almost perfect rolls I had to say no to in order to get this one.

That's pretty much all I play, but I don't play nearly as much as I used to. I help streamers with carries whenever they need someone, but other than that I maybe only play 30-40 games a weekend.
