In the Necrochasm's grimoire card, it said that a lost Titan's auto rifle was turned into Necrochasm- after the Great Disaster. Maybe the Titan who created the machine guns also lost his auto rifle to the Hive which became Necrochasm?

It just says that was [i]a[/i] Guardian's weapon. We don't know what class or who it belonged to prior to the Hive experimenting on it.
