they would not be allowing fatebringer and other year one weapons to be ascended to whatever attack values when TTK comes out. This would cause stagnation in terms of weapons as we will continue to use those, let me ask you a question.. So far, have u been excited for most of the weapons in HoW? Probably not, this is because Bungie broke the mold with the first generation weapons. Not only the legendaries,i am talking about..I hope current exotics get phased out in time too.

If they want to keep us using new weapons they must atleast be eqaul to the usefulness of the old. Really ascending is check to keep bungie on the top of their game or risk us never usign anything but VoG weapons. IE> Comparatively all of the POE weapons are inferior to all of the VoG weapons. I would not have played HoW at all if it had not been for getting etheric light. The armor and the guns are complete and utter trash.
