Just a non cosmetic item (will not show up on your actual character just buff him/her) that is technically another armor slot. It will give your character a buff in defense like armor I believe, and have perks. Also it gives a bonus two of the standard three stats of INT/DIS/STR. They sound like they could be interesting.

I'm gonna guess it's like an extra perk, this is a really bad example but Titan Sunbreaker gets angel of light, but you see we're I'm going right, also could be a stat increase
