The queen Cypher drops randomly. I ran3-5 28s to get mine. It is completely random. My friend got his om his first. You HAVE TO HAVE A TREASURE KEY as the only way to get it is to open the big chest.

I thought it states that you must complete a challenge boss and then open the chest. So you have to kill a 32, 34 or 35 boss

Thanks pal. After you have the cipher and you select your weapon, is it like normal exotic bounties where you're required to complete numerous steps?

Edited by egm09: 6/15/2015 7:03:34 PMSteps for the house of wolves exotics 1. Kill a 34 or 35 prison boss and have it drop randomly. 2. Take it to varies and he will tell you need the Queens cypher. 3. Open the big chest at the end of any level prison boss till you are randomly awarded the Queens cypher. You must have a treasure key to open the chest and get the queen Cypher 4. Take the queen Cypher to variks and he will summon you when it is fixed. 5. Wait for the summing. 6. Once summoned you have to kill prison bosses till you hit a 1000 points. Level 28 bosses are 75 points and mini bosses in any higher level boss are 75 points. Level 32 is 200 points if there is no mini boss, 275 if there is a mini boss. (Mini boss would be something like a pilot servitor or that minotaur in quodron) Level 34 with no mini boss is 350, with one is 425. Level 35 will be 450 for skolas and if you kill the pilot servitor (mini boss) it will be an additional 75 so 525 in total. 7. Once you have a 1000 points return to variks and he will give you the choice of the Queens breaker bow, lord of wolves, and dregs promise. 8. Have fun with these awesome exotics.

Depends on your play style. Lord of wolves is a shot gun that shoots kinda like a pulse rifle. Queens breaker bow is a sniper rifle that you charge like a fusion rifle. I got the Queens breaker bow first as I think it just looks badass and then I played with it and it is so much fun to use. Plus their is the satisfaction of killing all of those vandals with wire rifles that have killed you because you pretty much have a wire rifle

True. Watched some YouTube of both and seems they each have their +/-, I'm more of a shotgun hobag being a hunter... Perhaps it can replace my invective, maybe...

Queen cypher always drops from chest, you're thinking about the elder cypher that drops when the boss dies that's random
