You cant use purely statistics without factoring in player skill. The slower fire allows better accuracy. How much dps increase this will cause is different per player (one could argue that a player should be skilled enough to make all-crits in both situations, a bit unrealistic id say).
You get more dmg per magazine, you get better accuracy, you dont need to reload as often, becomes more effective at a longer range. Those are all factors that need to be counted, not just flat dps.
And then there is ofcourse preference.
Oh, and on average, more than half my scoped shots are crits, something i couldnt do as easily with a higher rof.

Agree 100% that there is more to factor in. Real world feel should always be deciding factor if #'s are close. Both those autorifles have such high stability that your head shots w/ slow vs fast shouldn't change much.

I disagree with you last sentence. Especially with the nerfs on this gun, it isnt as accurate anymore at medium and higher range. The crosshair jumps around and you need to correct this recoil by counteraiming. The higher the rof, the more this effect increases. At close range it doesnt matter much, but remember the suros was practically an auto-scout rifle in the beginning.

Yeah, I don't use suros much in PvE, or PvP either so I'll have to defer to your experience on it. I do use my personal precision kill numbers for the suros in my calculations which is 43%. How much lower you think that number would be with fast fire? I can rerun the #'s with a different percentage.
