I don't know. I really don't think that any governments do it right.
Is there a type of communism that has the benefits of private property as well as providing home, health care, employment, etc?
English
-
There is no private property under Communism.
-
Yeah, but if there were a version that somehow permitted it I think that would be optimal
-
I don't think you know what private property means.

-
You can live in a house and have all the comfortable and common items you want (so long as it is permitted for you to have it), you just don't technically own it, which means you can't sell it and that there can be restrictions on what you're allowed to do with that item or property. Communism isn't an empirically efficient system, much like any kind of socialism.
-
That doesn't sound too bad at all
-
But it's not realistic.
-
Doesn't China run on communism? Or some form of it?
-
No. They call themselves communist, but they function competitively.

Изменено (Woupsea): 2/9/2015 7:55:02 PMSo why do they call themselves communist? Just the label? Do their citizens run businesses or have some sort of freeish market?
-
You would be correct
