Blind Watch had become one of my favorite levels recently, and then they decided to move all of the control points and close off some of the windows. I can understand keeping people from getting to places they aren't supposed to, but completely changing the map? Why?
-
To me, the biggest problem with this map was that whatever team had A captured would constantly spawn at A over and over. That made it really difficult to gain any ground. Most of the time, if you were team Alpha, you might as well just call it quits unless you could flip the zones on the other team. Now, they still haven't fixed this problem and all the new moved zones suck. On C, for example, there was places you could stand to avoid being shot at from the window. Now, they moved C to a place with absolutely no cover and they closed off the window that USED to be somewhat of a problem in it's original position, but now that it's been moved, people just shoot at you from the window on the other side. Brilliant. The other two points are almost as bad, frankly. I didn't mind Blind Watch before except for the terrible respawns, but now I kind of hate it. They didn't fix the problem, they just made it worse as far as I'm concerned.

Solution for when you spawn at a. Run to c right from the get go. Cap c. Win game.

I'm just going to bring this back from the dead. If you're going to have this map as 50% of the maps you play on, especially in Iron Banner (it's ridiculous how many times this map pops up) FIX THE DAMNED POINTS. It's still a case of keep C and you win. Spawn at C, you're at B within 5 seconds. Spawn at A and you've got a 10-15 second gauntlet run to get to B where you'll be sniped by people at the bottom of the stairs. How does that make for a fair and even, and most importantly, fun match? Brilliant design from supposedly one of the best multiplayer developers around. The entire map is bs, and easily my least favourite to play, even if I win it's not a fun map to play on. It's made even worse by the fact it's one of the most heavily used maps by the crappy rng system Destiny uses (the same rng system that gives you crap weapons no doubt)
-
Because it was one of the worst layouts in gaming history. You shouldn't even be allowed to have Internet access if you lost from the original C spawn. But, it still suffers from what made it so bad to begin with: A spawn is forced to funnel into C spawn's lines of sight. Whatever team gets C for its home spawn should win 100% of the time, no exceptions.
-
It was not great before but it's terrible now that they moved the points. If a team is even decent and spawns Bravo side the match is already over. Most other maps are somewhat fair or do not have that huge a difference in which point you have but Blind Watch is just broken and Bungie seems pretty clueless on how to fix it.
-
I will not play blind watch. It is a completely unbalanced and broken map.
-
Because stupid
-
At least they didn't get rid of the map. Like they did with that moon map. Which was one of my favs. I just love playing the same three maps. Its like a new fresh surprise every time I play them.

Bump because of date

The map is unbalanced no matter what. The changes they made are completely destructive to a long ranged player. They took away a lot of lines of sight that made that map fun for snipers or scout rifle guys like me. The map is really shotgun prone now and whoever controls the C spawn controls the game. It takes way longer to get to B from the new A zone than it does from C. Heavy ammo spawn is alright but that is about all I can say is good about the new changes.
-
Blind watch just needs to be deleted as if you don't spawn on Bravo 9/10 your going to lose and be able to do nothing about it.
-
You can't ruin something that wasn't good to begin with
-
I think Blind Watch has been a problem for a while now, and the new "changes" didn't really fix anything. I've even posted about some ideas to fix it, but sadly Bungie just decided to rotate the objectives counter-clockwise and call it a day.

Изменено (m00ninite): 11/23/2014 3:00:42 PMI feel like I'm taking crazy pills reading all this hate.. My friends and I like the new points.. Way more balanced than before.
-
Ya it is definitely unbalanced. I sat in the hallway from C to B and used Suros... Got on two 10 kill streaks and one 15. It was amazing and if they got to C I would hop out the back and snipe them from the roof.
-
There snipers at c wacth b door while you open door snipe

The team I was on actually managed to win even though we spawned by the A zone. I was pretty amazed lol
-
Because it was sooooo unbalanced in favor of whoever was spawning C.
-
The move of B is fine. The move of C is meh. The move of A is breaking. If you have C and B it is so easy to spawn trap with that flag outside in the open like that. Just from what I've seen happen in a few games, could be wrong.
-
Nothings changed. A is still a death sentence against a competant team. Most lopsided map I have played in any shooter ever.

Изменено (TerancePickles): 11/20/2014 2:53:08 PMI personally really like the changes. The game I've played post patch have been great. No one gets bogged down at B and the game has a really nice flow to it. I like that the hall below B has become more important as an artery connection to A, while still making the upper area a viable option for taking B from A.

I agree with the moving of the points, i however do not agree with the closing of the windows
-
I like the changes, I would usually just quit games if I spawn alpha on there and we don't spawn flip within a minute or so. Now A can actually win now.
