Okay so I've got a few questions for tech gurus and PS3 owners since I don't own one myself but would like to get one. To make it easy, I'll number each question and for the record I'm not interested in making a PS3 compatible with chat systems or anything. The only thing I'm looking for here is how to get game audio out of the PS3 without having to use speakers. 1. Does it even work? 3. Since they're earbuds without a volume control and I don't want to have to use speakers or buy a headset, can I use this: http://mycablemart.com/store/cart.php?m=product_detail&p=4059 so I can control the volume on my games if I feel it's too loud? 4. And finally, I suspect I'd use an extender connecting to the USB converter, volume controller and earbuds so I wouldn't have to sit 2 feet away from the monitor. I think that's all my questions and I'm only asking this because I've had lots of issues with earbuds and don't want to buy an expensive set of headphones that might break in under a year's time.
