Ok, so I'll admit I'm new to bungie community. I didn't join the website until last year, but I have been a shadow member since combat evolved. Though I wasn't part of the community, I've walked the same path as the rest of you. We all destroyed the first halo installation, fought our way through the second, gave everything to save the earth, then we fought as warriors defending earth while no one else could and went back to where it all began and fought to the last lone soldier to pave a path for our brothers and sisters to have a fighting chance. I was there for it all, as were most of you reading this, and now we are poised for a new journey that will take us places none of us could have dared to dream of. So I ask you fellow Spartans, Elites, and sleeping Guardians, why are you lashing out at our new allies? Those joining us who never never dawned the Mjolnire Armor, fought back the Covenant or the Flood, or those who have but have since walked a different path. There is no advantage to be had by the animosity shown to our friends from PlayStation. They will fight alongside us to save humanity and return the Traveler's gift of life. The only ones who gain from this adversity are Microsoft and Sony, and while they do set the door through which we start our journey, Bungie holds the key. Microsoft and Sony will do fine with or without this conflict, but it is putting unnecessary strain on Bungie, who have sweat, cried and I'm sure even bled for our benefit. I say that from here on out, once we step into these hallowed halls of glory that we put our differences side as one console or another, and the up the twin mantles of Spartans and Guardians, and become the unified force we need to be, both for each other, and for our benefactors at Bungie. Now I know that fighting is inevitable, because we are a family and all families fight, but I see no reason to fight over something so petty as the controllers in our hands. Who's with me?
