READ THIS BEFORE VOTING: So my parents are helping me buy a laptop since I'm about to go off to college and also because our desktop isn't fast enough for the photoshop editing that I do, AND because I'm the only one in the family without a laptop. So I was looking at some laptops and it appears to me that the Alienware M18x R2 is the best deal I can find for my needs. It's plenty fast for what I need it, it can game like no other, and it has the best benchmarking scores of any laptop I've seen. I will buy it refurbished likely around $1800, and it will come with DDR4 16GB RAM, 1TB storage, quad i7 3740QM processor clocked at 3.7GHz (once I'm done with it hehe), and dual 2GB HD 7970M graphics cards. It's also upgradable which is nice, although being unfamiliar with gaming laptops, I don't know if this is standard nowadays because I know a lot of laptops aren't really upgradable. I just wanted your opinion if this is a good deal or not. I know a lot of people hate Alienware (I'm usually one of those people as well but with laptops, it's different), and I would NEVER buy an Alienware desktop because I'm no stranger to custom PC builds, but gaming laptops such as this are completely new to me. So please just give me some input. Only two options, you think I should get it, or you think I should get something else.
