There is hardly any reason to have doubts on whether or not you'll complete Dead Space 3 on Hardcore. The only real thing you have to worry about it getting killed by falling debris. Health packs, ammo, and resources are never scarce seeing as how I actually had to drop quite a bit of things from my inventory to fit in some others. I had hoped that having only one life would make it more challenging, but I guess that's not the case for Dead Space 3. It might have been for Dead Space 2, with the tight corridors and all but even that games Hardcore mode was easy as well. Maybe It's just me, but they should have at least set it's difficulty setting to Impossible and not Hard (Zealot).
