I know it's incredibly unlikely that this would be implemented now, but there is one reason why I am still posting this and why I'd think it would be a great "last" feature; further replayability. It would open up the game to "custom" game modes, i.e. Nuzlocke. Right now, unlike D1, if you get a gear drop on a new character the power level will be set by your overall power level across your characters. A toggle option to turn this off would allow for self imposed rulesets/challenges, like a nuzlocke run, where you are highly dependant on only dropped gear, and power level would have more of an impact in these runs. I want to feel weak again, so that I can feel powerful again. That's it, that's the whole post. It's a stretch, but I hope.
