cross save problem
i recently started getting back into the game on xbox but i want to hop over to pc, but i changed my main steam account due to my old one being hacked, is there anyway bungie can help me deactivate my steam account that's active on cross link? steam has already frozen the old steam account so there's no way for me to access it through steam.

No, Bungie will not unlink the account under any circumstances and due to the March 25th 2025 linking change, even if you could access it you couldn't remove it either. For playing on PC though, an easy way for you would be to use the Xbox (PC)/Windows Store version. Note the expansions do not carry over via cross-save even though its still the Xbox platform due to Destiny 2 not being a PlayAnywhere title.
