Koftiks not dropping Mote of Light / stuck at 16 Motes for Khvostov

Character: Warlock Exo
Issue: Koftiks is not dropping the Mote of Light needed for Khvostov.
I have completed the Pale Heart Overthrow bosses and I am stuck at 16 Motes of Light. The missing boss appears to be Koftiks in The Blooming. I have killed Koftiks multiple times, including solo runs, returning to orbit between attempts, but the Mote of Light / Primordial Mote does not drop.
Steps tried:
- Killed Koftiks multiple times in The Blooming Overthrow
- Returned to orbit between attempts
- Checked the area around the boss after death
- Tried solo instance
- Tried depositing Motes of Light in the Vault/Depot if possible
Expected result:
Koftiks should drop the missing Mote of Light or convert the 16 Motes into the Primordial Mote.
Actual result:
No Mote drops and I remain stuck at 16 Motes of Light.
Please investigate or advise if my account is stuck.

By any chance, if you ensure all your current motes are in your Vault, and then continue to shoot Koftiks during its death animation, does it drop the mote? Please let us know if this helps when possible, and we'll review.
