I don't like punching down on people with obvious cognitive difficulties, and this is not me being sarcastic one bit. You need to learn how to interact with others in a more prosocial manner. Or just don't comment if you cannot refrain from insulting other people.

The type of people that think matchmaking raids are a good idea when people can't even throw a ball in a strike. Someone made a good name for these people. The helmet brigade. Because they need as much protection from basic gaming concepts (that are common sense) as possible.

For the difficulty part is a FACT that you have [u]LOWER DIFFICULTY OPTIONS[/u], if someone doesn't like the little tanky enemy you get in gm and ultimate just play the other difficulty options. Bungie should make delta optional for less rewards? yes 100%

Bungie is the reason why things are the way they are now, ie: bad routes to get desirable gear. Telling a player to do the thing you're not supposed to do to get the desirable gear is not how you support a community. Especially when one is a part of that community and not on the side of the studio. Tldr: We need more people criticizing Bungie's bad decisions. Not more people trying to defend them from their own bad decisions.

except you can't choose anything below expert in Lawless frontier. I do not play the portal, last I read you could not match make below master there. So... Do you really have a choice, or are you personally good enough for ultimate and think master is so easy everyone can do it, like bungie does? Because a lot of us out there are not that good or skilled.

That’s like getting Adepts back in the day without needing to do a GM nightfall.

To you Expert is not hard. To some GM nightfalls were easy. To others yet legendary raids were a cake walk. Some players can one phase the bosses in the new dungeon like it is nothing. I am not that good or skilled. There are a lot more players without that skill than there are with that skill. Just so we are both clear. Not ALL players want to play at the hardest difficulty, they just want to come in, kick around and have some fun with friends. All the jumping, platforming, increase in difficulty, and Bungie forcing everything to be set to the hardest mode all the time, has driven a ton of players away from the game. If I can reliably complete expert, I want to be able leave the game set there and not have to fiddle with the game set up EVERY SINGLE match. I can't reliably complete anything harder than expert. I have zero desire to play at master, GM or ultimate difficulty level. I do not care about T5 gear or LL tied to difficulty. I just want to have FUN and not beat my head against a wall until I run out of revives and can't complete an activity.

Expert is not the hardest difficulty. You can select whatever difficulty you want. No one is forcing you to play the hardest… you pick what you want to play at. You have never had as much control over how hard or easy any given activity is in the franchise history. Now that isn’t always a good thing. I don’t want to customize every activity I play. Totally fair. But that’s different than complaining that I can’t play however easy or hard I want to.

Not like I would see the rolls I need anyways. I do not play enough. I will say this again, some players just want to kick around and have fun. I am not a raider, and while I have done the new dungeon, the number of time I visit it are limited. Lawless is about over, every faction is at 5 rep. Nothing else to earn there. Portal still sucks. Control as far as bungie lets you have it is fine, but I am not adjusted difficulty and all that crap every run. If you do there is no match maker. Having no one to play with means I am dependent on MM to et things done, because I can't solo all of it. You enjoy your difficulty, and control, while those of us who prefer fun stop supporting this franchise.

You can literally select the docility and modifiers for every single portal activity. Complaining that you have to go through a menu to play is entirely different than comparing about difficulty being too high. You gotta go through that menu regardless.

NO, I can not!!!! I would play the lowest difficulty the game has at ALL times if I had a choice. I do NOT have that as a choice. Please stop reinforcing the Idea that every one can play at the difficulty they want to, because it is a lie! I cannot set the game to the difficulty I like, therefore I do not have a choice in the matter. I am in fact forced to play at much harder levels than I enjoy. Bungie has pushed this harder is better narrative since Neomuna. You have to have the right weapons, right gear, right build, and be playing what ever is the best for your class. Now LL is linked to difficulty, for whatever reason. Gear is tiered and that is not a good thing. All the gear I previously worked for years to get is now trash and worthless. Bungie has lost thousands upon thousands of players, care to take a guess why? You go one believing the game is fine, easy mode or whatever it is you think, but to many players it is not easy or fun.
