My D1 vault - small though it is compared to the current vault, is jam packed with all the D1 goodies! Back then, we raided nonstop…blah, blah… When BHQ activated the Sunset debacle, the ‘space magic’ vibe evaporated almost overnight. Now, there’s only the Neomuna Overtuna (N.O.) vibe behind most things, ie, harder / faster / crazier - great for the few that clamour for such, though not so much for the rest of us. IMHO: there are a lot of Destiny gamers who only play this game…I’m one. Although I bounced to WarFrame (MR24😎) after the debacle and had some fun there, I ended up, back on Destiny’s shores, only this time, my engagement with the game is very different from D1 days. I embraced the new tier system…some of it was good, but then they raised the floor to match the ceiling, despite the pleas and protests from many players…which fell on stony ground… Then the players voted with their feet…and still are…and what do we get from Sony / BHQ? Radio Silence cue <crickets> 🙄 I watched Aztecross’s video on the latest Marathon Devs Insights…and it did look interesting. I like the art style…and Rook looks fun…as do a few other’Shells’… Usually there would be a lively thread or two about such, but there’s nothing I could find in these forums. Maybe it’s in another place?! Anyhoo, the New Year’s first 2x TWID silence on expected, important update news, is not a good move. IRL - a company with such Customer dissatisfaction would ensure their top people should have prepped that over the Xmas holidays, ready to drop on TWID no. 1…but not for BHQ, though?! It almost feels deliberate. Like being on a sinking ship / company, where the crew knows, but pretends all’s well… Well, back to my vault: I spend more time on item management than anything else, it seems. I do a few quickplays and bounties - just to get my Destiny ‘fix’ for the day…otherwise, do a few invasions, just to complete my Vex clan card - and I’m done! I’m waiting to see the price for the pending Steam Game Cube…if it’s reasonable, hello pc, goodbye PlayStation / Destiny… All things must pass! 👈 That is all. Ease Springs! 🖖👻 MTFBWY

Games, in general, are all designed to keep you playing/logged in. These new generation of devs that took over the old cats dont have the passion to just make great games. It's all about that $$$ and how to keep you hooked or playing. Honestly, my time with destiny has shrunk dramatically. Maybe it is time to move on, but I get it, though. All that time, memories, fun moments and the money you sunk in, makes it tough to let it go. But it is what it is. Like I told my friends, I get w.e urges I have to play destiny then I log off for the rest of the week lol
