Bungie This Grandpa is ready to quit a game I really like!
Limited revives in activities! Why? Bullet sponge adds and bosses! Why? Difficulty upped because streamers and such asked for it? Why? The bulk of the game doesn't matter anymore. No bounties! Orders? Why? To increase grind and reduce progress through the pass. to pick a difficulty is impossible because of alot of preset defaults. Play how you want as long as you are above average or an elite player. I used to do alright in the game pre portal. Now not so much and I've significantly reduced my play time. I really like IB and did ok and got the gear, and earned the title so where is it? What are you doing to the game? Because long time players like me are leaving and you will be dead in the water.
PS your last 2 TWID/TWAB what ever is full of useless info. FUN? EXCITING stuff for the game you say? Really? I don't see it!

I think once every 6 months we may get 1 good twab that's important..The rest of them are just useless. They'll say that they do listen to what we dislike but they never fix anything Limited lives is stupid when you dont have enough ways to get them back

I don’t know if Bungie will die with MARATHON but DESTINY certainly will. If I wanted to play Fortnite I would just play Fortnite. I can’t stand the game and will never play it. I’m certainly not purchasing MARATHON! SONY will probably take complete control of BUNGIE or just dismantle it. Probably would be best to just dismantle the company and start anew. All the developers have forgotten what made DESTINY great.

@G4LL0WGL455 ya it sucks, loved this game until portal. Been here since day 1 of Destiny 1. Grandpa short timing 70. Seems like everything either has a ridicules timer or it another annoying jumping puzzle, hands just don't work a controller as good as they used too. Miss taken my time on missions and enjoying myself.

The game is not fun anymore. And don't worry, it's not your age or anything. Yesterday, I checked the game, and twice I joined missions with people below rank 5, with 0 revives, and had to drag them through what I can only call "a big mistake." Because whoever thinks this paid expansion will keep players engaged once they need to play outside the expansion and deal with all the crap they turned the game into, is making a big mistake.

3 отв.I agree 110 percent! I am 76 years old and have been playing since the beta. The game is no longer fun or entertaining it’s just a grind! For solo players it’s no fun anymore!

3 отв.The entire game is trash. I took 3 years off and wondering why I started playing again. PvE is terrible, lfg’ing is coin flip because hardly anyone plays anymore and those ‘better’ players who do only do stuff within their own clans. PvP is just an absolute write off, I’ve never experienced anything so bad in my entire life, it was bad 3 years ago but now it’s just damn right unplayable. A decade of Destiny is what’s keeping me around but nostalgia only goes so far. I’m hoping they just vault this game and stop with the live updates. Maybe when marathon comes out it’ll finally die. It’s a shame to see a game with such potential get pushed to the side with a skeleton crew because they NEED marathon to not flop.

6 отв.They have indeed pushed some difficulties above and reasonable bounderies... I mean at this point, the enemies of humanity in Destiny deserve to conquer the world if they are THAT powerful and we get THIS much debuffed... It's not "challenging", it's gosh darn anoying and NOT fun at all.

You are spot on with your observations. Bungie has wrung the fun out of this game, especially is you like solo. They cater it to professional Youtubers that don't work and play Destiny 2 all day.

1 ответThe best loot you get now is from the Vanguard alerts match made 300 power level and really it’s like grandmaster level rewards, They should however, tone down grandmasters allow the weekly reward weapon to drop guaranteed on every clear with a chance for an additional drop based on scoring or something , no timers, no limited revives, kinda like a hybrid Grand Master Vanguard alert activity I know what you’re saying doing like a solo pinnacle lops thing is so boring punishing unforgiving bullet sponge ads spam with their bullets. There’s nothing fun about it. That’s why I just don’t even play that. All raids and dungeons should at base level have in game tutorial hint icons that allow people to figure stuff out so they can join a LFG and get what they want they would attract a lot more people

3 отв.Gameplay; Great The rest; Since the inception of the franchise there's been a complete lack of direction. Things are added and taken out on a whim and typically without explanation - leading to us players to always ending up with the, from a PR perspective, worst possible speculations. The trust in the company that once made the exceptional Halo games is completely gone. In addition to the mess that is and has been the Destiny franchise it's now also cluttered with bugs. I don't think I've said this before but I genuinely believe that the game is on life support now and I don't think anything - even a D3 announcement - could turn things around.

There's a reason I play since months WoW again more. I may be paying more for Blizzard games. But at least Blizzard is improving as a company. Unlike Bungie. Also, linking this video.

1 ответAMEN! I both love but extremely HATE what Destiny has turned into. Yet Bungo is 1 billion percent incapable of listening to anyone and thus the game just keeps devolving. Next to my chair I have my controller and two books. Lately the books are winning over the controller and I'm the happier for it. Yet I want to play and have fun like we used to have, especially like in the golden D1 days. don;t mind difficulty but sheer stupidly insane difficulty for the sake of forcing you to stay online longer is WRONG AND EVIL!

9 отв.I also thought so, at first...... BUT: This expension is made for Praxic Blade. When wielding Praxic Blade, you are basically invincible in PvE. It's a very powerful weapon and you can easily beat Ultimate activities in D2. Just an advice from Stari (Old man) 😀👊🏻🤝🏻

5 отв.Hello. I’m not trying to be a jerk, but you need some help in build crafting for PvE if you want to succeed. It looks like you either didn’t buy TFS or didn’t engage with it. Shame it was pretty good. Anyway that probably means you don’t have Prismatic, which on a warlock almost plays the game for you. It also looks like you haven’t got the latest dlc. No worries. Try googling for a [b]Contraverse Hold[/b] or [b]Nothing Manacles[/b] build on your void Warlock A [b]Synthoceps[/b], [b]Precious Scars[/b] or [b]Loreley’s[/b] build on your Titan. Stasis [b]Strongholds[/b] Titan is cracked. A [b]Gyrfalcon’s Hauberk[/b] build on a void hunter might still be good. Or a Strand [b]Speedloader Slacks[/b] Ensnaring slam build might work too. Unless you’re in PvP never use double primaries. Always use an exotic armour piece and build around it. I’ve [b]bolded[/b] all the [b]exotic[/b] armor pieces that I’ve mentioned. Good special weapons are wave and area denial grenade launchers, rocket pulse and rocket sidearms, some fusion rifles especially chill clip ones like Riptide. I hope you didn’t mind me giving you some pointers. If you did mind then I’m sorry I wasted your time and mine. If you need some help I could dm you some DIM links if you want. But Google and some of the better YouTubers like PlunderTheBooty, Llama and Mactics have some solid build videos.

The difficulty is quite excessive, but don't quit, may I suggest changing your approach? You can pick up things from YT on builds, guides, all kind of stuff, and try to incorporate what you can in your existing playstyle, also try to unlock new powers, weapons, gear I approached this game the wrong way in the beginning, it wasn't entirely my fault, but I was still at fault You can play solo or at a reasonable difficulty without frustration, until you gain more knowledge, and or feel more confident you can tackle a higher difficulty But yes, the game assumes all players are elite players, and expects them to be as such, which is a mistake, streamers and sweaty players are a ruin to this game

Like you I can’t play like I used too & I’m finding I’m not wanting to play much more either I’m really regretting my purchases if I’d thought for a minute I would have dropped b4 eof campaign 😭
