Logged onto the game today and went to eva in the tower to start the dawning. She gave me the quest and the oven. The first step in the quest is to make a cookie for zavala and give it to him. The issue is the game never gave me and essence of dawning to make the cookie and I cannot aquire any from any of the portal activities. I am effectively locked out of the dawning because of this. I can still get the weapons from the bonus engrams but am not able to bake any cookies which is the main thing in the event.
