A paywall for a niche genre which will also charge for battle passes and microtransactions is insanely out of touch.
Not to mention the game seems slow and boring from what I’ve seen.
Concord 2.0 here we come

There’s something about the visuals that makes it a no-go for me. I’m not complaining about the character design, it’s the choice of colors, the way some things flash and strobe… My eyes start to hurt and I get a low grade headache. I’m too old for that demographic. I can watch Invader Zim, Helluva Boss or Hazbin Hotel for hours without any kind of eye strain or fatigue. After 15 minutes of Marathon I have close my eyes and give them a rest.

Idk man, I’m sold on it. It’ll be the game that gets me into this “niche” market. It doesn’t look bad at all, y’all just really really want the game to fail because you’re upset they took resources away from Destiny (a 10 year old franchise now) Can you image how poorly Destiny would have done if all the Halo bros just shat on it since Bungie left Halo to make Destiny? What happened to gamers wanting to game?

Изменено (Joulevette12): 4/27/2025 12:31:22 AMIMO this game is nothing more than a Sony cash grab for concord failure but Bungie see more to it then that it's just that I don't think Sony feels the same. How many years this game was in development it still looks unfinished and needs way more work and rushing it out too fast.

Изменено (Northern): 4/26/2025 11:01:36 AMI wonder if Bungie will be transparent regarding the monetization model for Marathon. In addition to the initial game cost, battle passes, and microtransactions, will Bungie also be charging for additional high-end content?

So have you tried Marathon?

Calls it concord 2.0 but says it will last at least 6 months...

You know what? I respect the gumption, all props to you if this ends up being the case but I highly doubt it.
